Chilly Powder Pottery invites you to experience ceramics in two inspiring settings - the sun-soaked village of Cabrières d’Aigues in Provence and the mountain charm of Morzine-Avoriaz in the French Alps.

Hosted by Francesca Eyre, these pottery retreats and lessons blend creativity and relaxation. In Provence, mornings unfold in a bright studio surrounded by vineyards and the Luberon hills. In Morzine, guests can enjoy hands-on pottery sessions amid alpine views - perfect after a day on the slopes or trails.

Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced potter, Francesca offers a warm welcome, time to relax and a chance to share in her passion.

Provence pottery retreats

Francesca (trained chef and pottery enthusiast) hosts immersive retreats at Maison Lou Roucas, her beautifully restored village home in Provence - blending pottery, cuisine, and culture.

  • Studio time: Pottery workshops in Francesca’s on-site studio. Hand-building and wheel work, with glazing and firing included. New this year is RAKU firing

  • Local immersion: Market trips, vineyard and lavender field walks, and guided cooking lessons reveal the region’s flavours.

  • Hospitality: Stay at Maison Lou Roucas, with cosy rooms and meals shared in the garden or under the vines.

Maison Lou Roucas, Provence

Maison Lou Roucas is a lovingly restored 200-year-old village house in Cabrières-d’Aigues, Provence. Nestled among vineyards and olive groves, it’s home to Francesca Eyre’s pottery retreats. With cosy rooms, a shaded courtyard, a plunge pool, and rooftop views of the Luberon, it’s a tranquil, character-filled setting to relax, create, and connect.
